Allison Brooks Janney has been an American actress for more than 20 years. The American actress is well-known for her work on screen and the stage. Allison Janney, who spent nearly 20 years performing in theatres across the country, was famous for her character as White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and highly acclaimed drama on television The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney was always a late bloomer. Her driving license until she reached the age of 17 - a full year longer than the majority of her peers from Ohio. Her first time on a date, it was during her time at University. Although she auditioned at the age 23, Faris wasn't able to start starring onscreen until she reached her 30s. Following her departure from Mom in the year 2020, Faris has been very cautious about roles, mainly performing in animated films, with the exception of 2022's The Estate. According to Faris specifically tells PEOPLE that this was not a conscious choice she had made. Anna Faris had left CBS's beloved sitcom Mom prior to the final eighth season. At the time, Faris announced that she would leave to pursue new opportunities, however now, she's revealing details about the reasons she chose to take a break from acting that she claims wasn't a deliberate decision when she made it. Janney is sporting a wig since the start of the show and was unafraid. Fallon declared, "Everyone knows now that I have been wearing the wig since the beginning of the season, but no one knew about it." Janney plans to bring the wig with her for a keepsake. During the initial seasons of her series, Janney made anywhere from $125,000 to $250,000 per episode. According to reports, in the third or fourth season however that Faris along with their co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 each episode.
